President Trump to his conservative critics: I read you loud and clear!
After coming under criticism from many on the right — most prominently, the Drudge Report — for seeming to move popular campaign promises like repealing ObamaCare and reining in the tax code to the back burner, this morning Trump promised a “phenomenal” tax reform package will be presented in the next two to three weeks. Speaking to airline executives at the White House, Trump empathized with the burdensome regulatory climate the industry is operating under, and promised to begin making reforms.
"We want to help you realize these goals by rolling back burdensome regulations, and you people are regulated probably as much as almost anybody," Trump said. "We have a regulatory morass that's a disaster." He also promised a round of tax cuts.
"Lowering the overall tax burden on American business is big league, that’s coming along very well," Trump said. "We’re way ahead of schedule, I believe. And we’re going to be announcing something -- I would say over the next two or three weeks -- that will be phenomenal."

In 20 days, he has just 1/3rd of his department nominees approved. At this rate his last nominee will be approved on March 31st.
This does tend to slow a guy down.
He has been president for 20 days, and it’s already a new world.

President Trump is like a racing jockey whipping the heck out of an old gray mare in Congress to get this thing past the finish line. It’s clear that the mare isn’t used to this pace.
Yes, they don’t trust him to do what he promised, but most of us do.

How about removing the HUGE taxes and fees I see on my electric bill each month that make up 66% of my monthly bill?
I wonder how many people (including Drudge) have considered that Democrats may be strategically slowing down the confirmation of the Treasury and HHS Secretaries (Mnuchin and Price) in order to delay rolling out tax cut and Obamacare repeal actions b3ecause the department heads haven't been seated yet.
This allows the Democrats to try to create a wedge between Trump and his voter base by gaslighting them into believing that Trump is abandoning his campaign promises, when he might be waiting for his team to be seated so they can begin working on deploying it.

For those paying zero taxes there will be a 500 percent tax reduction, retroactive to 1945.

Just received my latest bill for my cell phone. 19.8% of the amount is lumped into Regulatory Fees and Taxes.
