MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
Gov. Robert Bentley has appointed Luther Strange to replace Jeff Sessions in the U.S. Senate after Sessions was selected by President Donald Trump to be the country's next Attorney General.
...
Prior to being appointed to the U.S. Senate to replace Sessions, Strange served as the 47th Attorney General of Alabama. He held that title from 2011 to 2017.
I am greatly honored and humbled to accept the appointment to Alabamas Senate seat vacated by Senator Jeff Sessions, said Attorney General Luther Strange. Senator Sessions commitment to public service is nearly unparalleled in Alabama history and his departure from the Senate leaves tremendous shoes to fill. I pledge to the people of Alabama to continue the same level of leadership as Jeff Sessions in consistently fighting to protect and advance the conservative values we all care about.
Strange also served as the court-appointed Coordinating Counsel for the Gulf Coast States in the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill case that affected the Gulf Coast shoreline of Alabama.
Strange was born in Birmingham in 1953. He attended Tulane University, is married and has two children.
Yeah, she can use any name she wants.
I think you misunderstood what I said. Prosecute him if they have the evidence. It doesn’t take years to investigate. The coverup is what takes yeas. $hit or get off the pot.
Yes. Ex-NASCAR driver Dick Trickle.
One more: San Diego’s perennial Libertarian candidate: Dick Ryder.
Anyone with the last name “Strange” who doesn’t get a doctorate is seriously missing an opportunity :D
.
Absolutely not guilty !!!!

I heard that he is incompetent (or some such word).
.

Does he run the San Diego branch of Ping Pong Pizza?
.
He does have a “strange” name; “Luther” is just not that popular.

Lex Luther vs. Doctor Strange....GAME ON!
best part of him running is college student would steal his yard-signs all the time... of course, any sex-related pun had them chuckling like Beavis and Butthead
.
Definitely not a sign I’d want in my collection.
.
“Lex” Luther and “Dr.” Strange? I prefer the latter.
Uncommon name, but solid Republican Attorney General from Alabama. He will do a good job.
We had a guy up here in NW Washington named Dick Fallis. He passed away a few years back. Small newspaper publisher. Google the name.
