We have slavery today, except that it is not legal. We call it “human trafficking.” Politicians who encourage illegal aliens to come into the country are, in fact, supporting the illegal slave trade.

I still don’t understand why the Hispanics get a free pass from the so called U.N. after what they did to the indigenous people in Mehico, Central and South America. This is silly. Most white Americans were not here before 1865. And almost none were slave owners. Most “black” people have white DNA. And one question nobody asked, if someone was a slave in Africa were you better off when you arrived in America even as a slave?
I deserve reparations for the job I didn’t get which went to America’s first victim group.
If any group owes “reparations,” it’s the Democrats who bought, sold, and kept slaves. The people who fought a war to keep blacks in bondage. And after they lost the war, created the enforcer of the Democrats, the KKK. The people who fostered and furthered Jim Crow. The same Democrats who were brought kicking and screaming into the age of voting rights for everyone. The same Democrats who still govern big cities with all it’s crime, killings, and inner city squalorin their ghettoes. Yes, those people.
If we owe reparations to the blacks, I would hate to see what we would owe to the Native Americans!!!
Slave(s) and every form of the word has been corrupted. IF it is bad and evil to enslave anyone, then why do some keep up the practice? Democrats, liberals, progressives and RINOS practice the art of slavery every time they regulate, tax, and mandate US. All these practices come with the strong arm of government, and will by force take their price.

Been paid above and beyond for a long time. I’d say working one day a week to pay taxes for several decades so they can have free housing, food, healthcare, etc...an lay around and play video games and get high and/or drunk is more than enough. Especially when they go out and sell drugs at night that make them more money in one night tax free than I can earn in a week. And you wonder why some of them drive those whiney new cars and wear the finest clothes. Don’t tell me this doesn’t happen. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and heard about it from people who had family members that were doing it when I worked in LE.

As I’ve said on almost all these threads; Get the blacks whose American ancestors owned slaves to pay reparations first and then we can talk.
No case for reparations. Despite slavery, today’s descendants of slaves are better off than today’s descendants of the Africans who sold them into slavery.
