If we owe reparations to the blacks, I would hate to see what we would owe to the Native Americans!!!
Nobody can say with a straight face that “black Americans” are owed “reparations” (especially on top of what has been given to them for the past half century); I’ve posted on other threads that the whole point of raising this absurd “issue” is to move the goalposts to make the current, legally-indefensible practices of affirmative action seem reasonable (or at least acceptable). When our government treats certain preferred minorities (blacks, Hispanics, women) as inferior and expects less of them, they end up with blacks, Hispanics, and women that ARE inferior.
At this point, in any interaction with a “preferred minority”, I assume the person is not there by their own merits (and I’m usually right). Let them prove to me they didn’t win a race/gender lottery; they are suspect until they do...

had stuck together instead of fighting & killing amongst
themselves; the white man and the black man would have been
evicted from the New World quickly & never have taken root.
However, resources are to be used - in a sane & reasonable
manner.
Well, you could read all the treaties we violated, and then do the math.
