Several other states have recently removed the requirement to obtain a permit to carry a firearm.
“Among U.S. states, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas[disputed], Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming are fully unrestricted, and allow those who are not prohibited from owning a firearm to carry a concealed firearm in any place not deemed off-limits by law without a permit.”
To my knowledge, Vermont, never had a permit process; jes sayin’.
When all the investors in the ski areas invaded the state...things when down-hill pretty fast; a la bernie and B&J’s, yada. Otherwise, in small hamlets, there a lovely pockets of die-hard Yankee individualists. Like many states in New England, if you stay out of the urbans, it’s almost tolerable.
