In the wake of a holiday season that was worse than the company expected, Target has decided to cut two of its most ambitious long-term projects before either even got off the ground, according to multiple sources.

Before Target started their really stupid bathroom policy, their stock price generally stayed about $10 per share above Wal-Mart stock
At yesterday’s close, Target was $63.75. W-M closed at $66.50
W-M has been on a downward trend too but nothing like Target.
Ditto. The bigotry displayed by that retailer soars above most others. I hope they fail, and soon.
I do think it would be wise for employees to now actively seek other employment.
Ha ha. Never considered Wally world might be esteem enhancing. Keep that quiet or the management will start marketing the therapy.
I avoid Target, and have for any years, and Costco. Costco execs donate millions to the democrappers.
I have visited over the years Wally world but only to purchase ammo. The Waltons were at least at one time strong contributors to repubs.
At our local Target, the employees are too busy chatting with each other to be helpful to shoppers. Maybe that has something to do with lower sales.
Haven’t been in Target in three years. Admittedly I did order one thing during the Holidays on-line from them. I don’t feel to bad, they probably lost money on it and I saved a bunch. 12 x Ball pint sized jars for $6.99 delivered. Had to have them to keep the Holiday Spiced Nuts gift giving tradition alive.
Maybe they didn’t go far enough with their restroom initiative. They should try making all their restrooms unisex to see if that helps their sales.
But I can use my own restroom when I shop at Amazon.
Lefty-left wing management.
My husband replied, "Nope, I don't like Target."
When I asked, "Why not?" he said, "It reminds me of KMart ... (long pause) ... they both stink of popcorn."
Had Hillary Clinton been elected president, I think these projects might have gone off without a hitch. The times they are a changing. For the better.
