Caning is no “ordinary ass whipping.”

At the minimum it leaves you in excruciating pain when inflicted and days after. If maximum canning is sentenced, it kills you in a horrid death. Burning alive would be quicker and less painful.

Singapore will not kill him but sure as hell will make him hurt that day and for days after. Attitude adjusted!

Last time I was in Singapore, I lit a cigarette. A very nice Policeman came over and pointed at a bench (looked like a typical bus stop bench with an ash tray on each end).

He said “Please, Sir, smoke here”

I said “Sure, Thank You.”

(If I had refused, I would probably still be trying to get out of that jail that I was in)
