Thanks for the heads up re:kale.
My thinking on diet goes like this. Our ancestors going back a million years did not eat kale. They did not eat rice, wheat or other grains. Agriculture is only 15,000 years old at most. Our ancestors go back 1.5 million years, which is 100 times longer. Our bodies work best when we imitate the cave man’s diet.
Which means eat fruits, root vegetables which taste ok raw and occasionally gorge on meat. Food was scarce for the cave man, and he did not eat from wake up to sleep time. Eating grain products and potato products throughout day is why diabetes is running amok. None of those were available for the cave man. Type II diabetes is not due to lack of insulin. It is due to developing insulin resistance in muscle cells due to constant bombardment of insulin in blood by frequent eating. When muscle cells can not utilize insulin, the sugar in blood does not get consumed.
Very true, the Paleo diet works best for me. But I’ve got to be able to chew it to paste, or it doesn’t digest well.
Gastro has taken most food away due to the pain on not being able to digest it. It forms balls Bezaors in the intestines and then they have to cut that section out.
Some of it comes from Vaccines too.
