Give me a break. We did silly things in high school. One of the more patently absurd was a primal- scream therapy group that met on wednesdays we dubbed “the Hairy fishnuts”. This seems to be along those lines.

Are you being serious? My guess is that they were always being referred to as fascists. So if there was indeed such a group that is where they derived their name from.

It looks like an attempt at humor, being a conservative at a liberal school.

He was thumbing his nose at the liberal faculty. There was no such club. It’s just what he wanted printed in the yearbook. Nobody since Mussolini has actually been for Fascism. Don’t fall for the lies of the Left. He was a teen tired of the lies of his teachers, and wanted a permanent rebuke of their ideology printed in his yearbook. He got it. Nothing more.
