Something is very weird with this story, the people who were actually burning things and attacking people seemed more paramilitary according to a friend who was there; cohesive and seemed to have a plan. It would have been good if some of them could have been captured and interrogated.

Yes, you are correct. We are now seeing the desired (by the left) next step in "protesting", as it begins to merge with global terrorism. Black Bloc. Antifa. BLM. OWS. All are tentacles of the left-wing fascist Kraken. Only now we are beginning to see them work in concert with radical Islamist terrorists and adopt terrorist tactics. There's nothing weird about this story at all - this was the Black Bloc, they've been allowed to act out for years, and now they're escalating and will start killing people if they are not stopped.
