Travis County, Texas, Judge Sarah Eckhardt decided to hold on to her pink p***y hat after the Womens March and wear the feminist symbol proudly in her courtroom. The act raised serious impartiality questions by many.
The incident occurred when a post appeared on the Austin subreddit that featured Judge Eckhardt wearing the hat in court.
After thousands of women sported the hats at the Womens Marches across the country on January 21, the hat has stirred up controversy among many that see it as a symbol of division.

you never go FULL retard. What was she thinking
TX country judges do adjudicate things like theft and DWIs, so yes a bias againts males could definatly be a problem.
She thinks everyone agrees with her. No concern that normal people are scratching their heads wondering how this loon was ever elected to public office. Then the normal people remember that she is in Austin, so....yeah.
She’s the bookend to the Democrat woman DA who was arrested a couple of years ago in Austin for driving very drunk with a half bottle of vodka on the seat beside her. She fought with the officers and threatened to fire them. But since she was a Democrat in Austin, she kept her job. Austin is an embarrassment to the state of Texas.
I would ask her to recuse
She looks like an idiot
It took a minute, but I came up with a response. Go to the court and sit in the gallery wearing a MAGA hat. Either you will be allowed to sit there (consistent) or will be asked to take the hat off, where you point out that you are not the only one in the room violating the dress code.
Bingo. She’s a nothing burger with an obnoxious hat playing up to her crazy assed Travis County liberal constituency.
The “city” in question answers the question as to why... Hanoi in the Hill Country.
Imagine the horror if a judge wore a MAGA hat.
Actually might be a good thing, you KNOW she’s not impartial.
Today it's only a Pussy hat.
Tomorrow it will be a Burka.
Anyone in the courtroom can be cited for contempt of court. Except, of course, the judge.
Any male that loses a case in her court has a reason for appeal.
I would have to disavow her authority to render judgement and not accept her ruling. It worked for tobacco companies. Sure, I’d likely be in jail for contempt, but there is no way i would sit in that courtroom and recognize the authority of anyone wearing such a garment.
Just so you know the duties of a Texas County Judge......
County Judge. The Texas Constitution vests broad judicial and administrative powers in
the position of county judge, who presides over a five-member commissioners court,
which has budgetary and administrative authority over county government operations.
The governing body of each of Texas’ 254 counties is the commissioners court. In Texas,
the court has five members: the county judge, and four commissioners. A sixth official,
the county clerk, is an ex officio member of the court.
That’s funny!
