They try to discourage and eliminate “fake” accounts, given that facebook’s main purpose is to sell your personal data to advertisers.

I guess I shouldn't let them know that my fake account has me shown as a person of the opposite gender who is 20 years older than I really am.

No wonder I get all of these ads for AARP and joint pain remedies in the Facebook sidebar. LOL.
