Trumps team also needs to rescind this Obama executive order 13522, which gave Federal employee unions effective control of their government agencies with “pre decisional” consultation (currently interpreted as hey unions, you get to run the show!) .

This is the damaging part in sec 3 - allow employees and their union representatives to have pre-decisional involvement in all workplace matters to the fullest extent practicable, without regard to whether those matters are negotiable subjects of bargaining under 5 U.S.C. 7106; provide adequate information on such matters expeditiously to union representatives where not prohibited by law; and make a good-faith attempt to resolve issues concerning proposed changes in conditions of employment, including those involving the subjects set forth in 5 U.S.C. 7106(b)(1), through discussions in its labor-management forums
Using five year old numbers total unionized federal workforce is slightly over one million, lets call it 1.2M. The total federal workforce is roughly 4.95M. That’s 1.2/4.95 = .2424 or 24.24%. So since these are 5 year old numbers lets call it 25%.
So roughly 1/4 federal workers are union. Not as much as I thought but still government workers should not be in a union. Even FDR thought it crazy!
