CNN host Jake Tapper called on Laura for an audience question about sanctuary cities. Laura shared how her son had been "tortured," "tied up like an animal," and set on fire by an illegal immigrant in 2010.
"I am not a one-story mother. This happens every day because there are no laws enforcing the border," Laura said. "How do you reconcile in your head about allowing people to disavow the law?"
"The second part of my question is this: if you need to go home tonight and line up your babies as you say, and your grandbabies, which one of them could you look in their eyes today, and tell them that they're expendable for another foreign person to have a nicer life? Which one would you look to say, you, my child, are expendable for someone else to come over here and not follow the law."

Pelosi was visibly thrown off by the blunt question and expressed her condolences to Laura.
"I commend you for sharing your story. I can't even imagine," Pelosi said.
"You can't," Laura shot back.

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. He wasn’t killed by all illegal immigrants. He was only killed by one illegal immigrant, who was probably enraged by his racism and lack of sympathy for Trayvon Martin. Most illegal immigrants come to America to become instantly transformed into decent, law-abiding, hard-working citizens, the moment they land on the other side of the fence. Serves him right anyway for going into a sanctuary city, instead of staying in Whitelandia where he belongs. What was he doing there? Buying drugs? Those people are always going into sanctuary cities to feed their habits, the racists.
Looked again. What little she has might just as well be two crumpled-up kleenex stuck in her shirt. Boobs were not a factor at all.
I do appreciate VERY much the defense in the closing days of the campaign.
I was distressed and amused at the same time by the vitriol hurled at me for posting two words: “Not good”!
The most important thing to consider in this whole story is that Tapper had to know who this woman was. She has been on several stages with Trump and told her story many times. He knew all along he was going to call on her and what the potential would be. I say it goes back to an observation of mine over the weekend when viewing the Sunday Talks thread. For the second week in a row, there was nobody from the administration on the CNN Jake Tapper Sunday morning guest list. I mentioned it to my wife and then last night I see this story headline on FR.

I firmly believe that CNN is now trying to create faux credibility in an effort to end the icing. Too bad CNN, you can’t remake the bed without any bed clothes. I stand with one poster who opined that yes, end the icing and replace it with liquid nitrogen.

believe me I thought too often what you said. I am thrilled beyond belief that we were wrong. and I am really happy that he is so conservative. I knew he loved America but I didn’t know he would be this conservative. Great news all around.
