Really this is just going back to the way things used to be, when immigrants seeking legal status had to prove they had needed skills that would allow them to earn their own keep in the USA instead of becoming a drain on our country.
We made some exception for refugees, but since regular immigrants have decided to abuse the system by falsely claiming to be refugees (and the left has dishonestly colluded with them to allow that abuse), that is going to have to be curtailed.

To say we are a nation of immigrants is a Statement by the left to brainwash the weak minded.
The correct statement is, “We are a nation of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS”. Many on the left and Rinos in Congress try to cheat people into believing the first statement is true, which makes me believe they faked their law school resume since they do not understand that the prefix “il” as in ILLEGAL means “not” legal! Only an idiot in Congress can try to pretend to have a law degree and not know what the word “illegal” means.
And by the way, why are we calling these people “the LEFT”; call them what they are; “COMMUNISTS”!

Also let’s not forget the racket that universities run. At a big ten school in PA, foreign students not only got free tuition but housing assistance and welfare including food stamps; while the white people from Appalachia got the job of scrubbing their toilets.

Every ‘leaked’ document is now suspect, especially if the source is unnamed or anonymous.

The New Policy Is Heaven Sent. 80% of current refugees are on public assistance. Most of those from Mexico and Central American end up of public assistance. We don’t need people with not skills who become a public charge. That’s a recipe for disaster and we’ve been living under it for decades.
