I found out they run a lot of scrips or something in the background that are loading so if you have a slow computer it will hang for a while. Sometimes a window will pop up asking if you want to end or continue the loading.

I'm at the point where I do that for my inlaws, and I've got dozens of 'em. My wife's one of 10 kids, and I have six sisters-in-law. There's more drama in her family than most soap operas.
OK and I get your point. But think about it. We used to have our social security numbers printed on our checks, we used to be able to let kids walk alone to school or go trick-or-treating unsupervised, we didn’t shred our paperwork, and we could answer our damn phone without worry. What has happened to us?
Simple version, the government abdicated its duty to protect us from external threats, in favor of serving oligarchs and megacorps; and now they have brought many of those external threats here to our own soil, and left us to fend for ourselves - worse, actually, as we would be prosecuted for any genuinely effective self-defense.
I read this early this morning, and just got a “can you hear me okay?” phone call. Click.
Thanks for posting.
Yeah, they’ve gotten really bad even with ad bloc stuff in place.
I don't pick up the house phone unless I recognize the number or caller (its mechanical voice says "call from" followed by the number or name associated with the number on our list). If they start talking to the answering machine I can pick up- or not. We've been on the Do Not Call list forever but it has not slowed down the junk calls one bit.
I've stopped clicking on Breitbart, because they've banned me from commenting and won't do me the courtesy to tell me why.
That’s great! Sounds like something one of my brothers would have done.
Years ago, when one had to pay to have an unlisted number, we listed our number with the dog’s name. But we never thought to have fun with like you described.
