<><> individuals plotting to annihilate our laws and Constitution, and,

<><> America-haters looking to establish a govt of THEIR choosing based on their fanatical religious leanings.

A broader point.

Irregardless of what the statue is supposed to “mean” and it’s changing relevance in the modern world, what were talking about here with the “huddled masses” is an inscription on a statue, taken from a poem written by some woman 130+ years ago. The idea of basing government policy an an old poem is *profoundly* absurd.
