In hindsight, I believe he went to the press to protect his life. Yes, I think the Clinton' may have put a hit out on him....and then had to cancel.
I think Comey has been sitting on some really good information. Remember that he was kept under the thumb of DOJ. He let out what he could get away with, but stopped short of losing his position. I’m thinking, as you said, that he has the goods on some important democrats. He does know where the bodies are.
I actually thought that might be a possibility the night he announced he would not recommend indicting the Hildebeast.
He basically laid out a case for why there SHOULD be an indictment, and then—to me—held up his handcuffs for everyone to understand why he couldn’t issue it.
