Isn't it great to have a a foreign leader meet a VP who you know doesn't absolutely hate America's Guts?
The King and Al Sisi are two of few Muslim country leaders that deserve respect.
it seems a little weird that VP Pence hosted him rather than the Prez.
I think President Trump has a lot to deal with right now.
“it seems a little weird that VP Pence hosted him rather than the Prez.”
That’s the first thought that came to me when reading the headline. Strange?
Of all the world’s leaders who I have seen in TV interviews over the last 25 years, there isn’t a single one of them — including any U.S. president — who seems to have the grasp of geopolitics and diplomacy that King Abdullah of Jordan brings to the table. The Trump administration would be wise to pay close attention to him.
true enough - now i read that the Prez will see him at a prayer event on Thursday.
I wonder if the President is not in Washington today.
Maybe Trump is going to have Pence take an active role rather than being a clown like Joe Biden?
I’ve always admired Jordan’s king.
Maybe he took a swing by Fort Knox to see if there was anything inside?
he did meet with small biz owners at the WH today. but i see that he is meeting up with King Hussein at a prayer meeting on Thursday.

i am sure he will as he entrusted quite a bit to him in the transition.
I like think so too.
he and his brother are preppies, of sorts
continued abroad at St Edmund’s School, in England. The young prince attended high school in the United States at Eaglebrook School and Deerfield Academy MASS.
Abdullah was admitted to Pembroke College Oxford in 1982, where he completed a one-year Special Studies course in Middle Eastern Affairs.
The Prince then attended the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C in 1987
Lol!! Too freaking funny!!
The Trump team impresses again.
I have a lot of confidence in Pence. He will fight with Trump every step of the way.
I find it reassuring that Trump trusted Pence to take this meeting.
Wow what a team...
His father was a good man too. His son is a chip off the old block.
