"Guns don't kill people. Toddlers kill people."
That's the bold if satirical message of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, which published a video in October warning Americans of the dangers of toddlers.
Toddlers have shot about one person a week for the past two years and by May, toddlers were behind more U.S. shootings in 2016 than Muslim terrorists were.

I had a discussion about this subject with some very knowledgeable and they felt that with kids around:
DA is dangerous
Everything goes into the safe when not being used.
DAs and SAs which have had expensive trigger jobs are particularly dangerous.
Pistols which do not have a trigger safety are dangerous around kids.
Yes ma'am. I don't even have toddlers, and except for one, all go in that vault.
There had to be prior knowledge. That's why nobody should know anything, ever. Even your buds.
No wonder they’re such abortaphiles. Babies popping out of the mothers with fully automatic Glock AR-15 with high capacity variable clip revolvers to gun down minorities and women at play school.
Guessing this toddler is from Chicago.
Terrible Twos.
I don’t know if I could fit all my kids in that vault, but I’ll give it a try. ;)
Seriously, I’d feel a lot better protected with quick access that is safe from any wrong or little hands. This neighborhood and others like it in the country have been targeted and “owned” by specific south LA gangs, 20 miles away. For real.
Don’t take my gun just because some people won’t watch their kids.
I store them outside on a chain with a cutout 55 gal. drum to protect them from the wind.
Rocky Mountain winters are windy.
That makes it safe for my guns to roam about the house.
I assume you have pistols. Why not just get a holster and carry around the house? I know it’s weird but I do it. My sons are older and well trained. I even took my 14 year old to the range last year for his birthday. He did really well with my two Ruger 9’s. I’m glad he knows how to use them in case of emergency. My 12 yo is trained not to touch it. Still, if there is an immediate need for it my pistol is with me.
Schmoozing for that Parent Of The Year Award.
Thanks, but, please, no, not again!
Too many years in a row and people are going to think the whole thing is rigged. ;-)
Dats right!
No, I am not ready for that. My oldest sons wouldn’t even let me! In a smallish safe would be fine. I’d like it to be disguised so no hired person would see it and try to break in. It’s a big property with nothing really of value here and I like it that way.
My older two love to go to the range as well. I need to go back, maybe take a course.
First thing we hear it will be , “Ban Toddlers”
Get a grip people.
Billy the (little) Kid.
I must be a bad parent. My son shot his first deer when he was 8.
