I remember when Texas Dem state legislators fled to a nearby state to avoid a quorum for voting on redistricting. Texas, at the time, had a large majority Republican voting public, but a Dem majority state legislature due to previous gerrymandering. Ending gerrymandering would do enormous good for the citizens of this country.
