Remittances, or cash that gets wired, is a big deal for a lot of countries around the world including Mexico. Just in November alone, nearly $2.4 billion in cash was sent there, mostly by Mexicans and Mexican Americans working in the US. That's the most money Mexicans have sent back in a single month in the last 10 years. And it's more income than Mexico makes off oil.

I think they meant Mexican illegal aliens.
They should be scrambling back across the border.
If we have to deport them they will have a 10 wait to apply to do it the right way.
Tax that money!!
How can we be comfortable knowing unknown invaders have been encouraged to live and steal jobs throughout our country?
Note to self: sell Western Union stock.
Yeah, American’s money.
The illegals sure don't sound like Americans to me. They sound like illegal alien invaders robbing the U.S. Treasury.
Criminals.
Why isn’t Trump threatening that? Remittances are a bigger source to their economy than oil revenue, I believe.
These should be taxed. Then refunded once and if senders can prove income properly reported and taxes withheld. Put a 50% tax to cover action and help build the wall.
“More income than Mexico makes off oil”. Which is money leaving our economy and benefitting Mexico at the expense of Americans. We have poor people here too, ya know. And they’re getting poorer.
Round up and DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS ASAP: They are breaking our laws.
Enforce our laws.
Post an ICE officer at all WU locations.
If they self-deport, there should be a 10 year minimum wait to get back in legally. If they wait until they come to the attention of law enforcement and are removed, they should NEVER be allowed back in.
Ww are not comfortable. Their cheap labor craving employers, however, are.
He did during the campaign. He knows there are many ways to get the wall financed.
Illegals always send their unTaxed Cash to Mexico, they don't need it because they use Taxpayer funded welfare to pay their living expenses here.

Patience! He’s probably told that little chilon, Pena Nieto over the phone that he’s going to have the IRS start taking in lieu income taxes from all remittances in a few weeks or days. I don’t think there is anything anyone can do about it if he does, because the IRS routinely takes in lieu taxes from untaxed lump sums people get., Try leaving a Las Vegas casino with a couple hundred thou in “winnings” without having the IRS take a chunk as you exit. You have to file a return to get any of it back.
They always intentionally omit the word “illegal,” as if the lunatic press is too stupid to know the different between legal and illegal immigration.
