Yep - extend the wall to enclose Kalifornia and make them pay for it - I bet a lot of folks would resettle elsewhere and leave them in an even bigger financial lurch if they heard that was going to happen. Turn the whole State into the Los Angeles of “Escape From L.A.”...

Its not picking up steam.

Its failing of its own absurdity.

“55 electoral votes gone. republicans would dominate.”

You can say that again. Liberals are so stupid.

I’m all for it. The place is a cesspit of Hollywierdos, Mexican illegals, soldiers of the Buggery Brigade and every brand of wierdo you could possibly imagine. And then some you couldn’t until you saw them.

.
In the days since the election, I have encountered only one person that is not encouraged by Trump’s election.

The real people of California just don’t think like lemmings.

Two days after the election, while standing in the check-out area of a very busy supermarket, I shouted out “Go Trump” and heard nothing but enthusiastic cheers around me.

Actually if this was to ever happen it would only be a matter of time that California turns into a $h1th0le like Venezuela, blaming the USA of course for it’s ills.

California will have no access to Fed.gov debt or printed money.

In spite of all the state’s economic advantages they will realize very quickly that socialism will bankrupt them within a month.

And yes, blood will spill, but I would rather see California, and the US, burnt to the ground than see it become a leftwing force for evil in the world.

And I guess you'd drink up whatever blood was spilled, too, like a regular James Chesnut, Jr.

The world will do what the world will do.

America's not likely to push the rest of the world leftward.

It's not going to become a "leftwing force for evil" in comparison to other countries.

But split up America, and any ability of the US to check that leftward motion disappears.

Say goodbye to California, and whatever the American model was becomes less attractive abroad -- and at home -- so whatever is pushing the world away from the American model has one less big obstacle.

Please tell your buddy that a lot, probably most, of us in Oregon, whole east side of the cascades, would be happy to join the state of Jefferson. We hate being ruled by the west side.

If they get up a sufficient head of steam and do the deed California will be throwing itself immediately into a civil war. If the governor is able to use the Cali National Guard the lefties have a chance. Otherwise, well, the rednecks and Bitter White Men throughout the hinterland have most of the available guns and ammo. I suspect a Secession would be very quickly followed by a counter Secession of much of the state from California. Guv Brown is apt to wind up with the southern two thirds of the state and the San Francisco Bay Area.

How about just kicking out the millions of illegals who have helped the hard left Democrats seize control of this state?

Those of us still here in the Resistance could use some help.

You think Cali would last 10 years without Federal money? Independence would immediately crash the credit rating and California couldn’t borrow money without real property collateral.

“They think they will build a progressive utopia,”

We are already suffering under that.

“California gets a lot of defense money,”

I’m not sure how true that is anymore. A lot of defense contractors have left the state.

“Then don’t forget that latinos and others will want to take over California. “

That’s already happened. And the Cal GOPe is just a bad in that regard as the Democrats.

San Diego would risk losing access to the Navy Base there or to losing the base altogether. That is a very big incentive to stay with the USA though people there might not think about it until Secession becomes a real time possibility.
