No ... actually subsidizing union jobs through massive taxation is liberal logic. No need for tariffs and protectionism. Get rid of the regulations and the economy will flourish and produce lots of jobs.

Naïve. Regulations and taxes do need to be reduced, but that isn’t the only thing.

I never thought of that.

Would our product prices come down low enough to compete without all the regulations?

What do you think about tax incentives for corporations to stay? I go back and forth.

As it stands right now only 10% of the manufacturing work force in the USA is unionized. So a tariff would also help the other 90% of workers in that area of the economy. Just so you know...
