Question for Cokie Roberts: how many refugees admitted into the US during WWII went on to commit mass-murder terrorist acts in our country?
The question arises because on today’s Morning Joe, Cokie contended that shutting out Syrian refugees would be like “shutting the Jews out during World War II.” Roberts made her remark in the context of claiming that the plans President Trump has announced are “extremely dangerous for the United States of America.”

There are Christians in Syria who are being slaughtered.. but of the thousands obama brought here to our land, only .03% were Christians. The goal was not to save refugees, but to infiltrate the US and turn it into their country.

Maybe I missed in in my history books but I don’t remember organized groups of Jews threatening to blow up people in other countries.
This is my suggestion on how to determine which "refugees" from Islamic majority countries are vulnerable or dangerous....
"Are you a Muslim?"
If "no" - vulnerable
If "yes" - "Do you reject Sharia? Do you reject capital punishment for non-compliance to Islam? Do you embrace religious liberty. Do you condemn unequal treatment of women?"
If "no" - dangerous
If "yes" - "Which Mosque did you attend in Syria? We will investigate the teachings of the mosque to verify they teach the things you claim to believe."
If they prove that they attended a liberal modern mosque, they shun sharia, they embrace 1st world western values, etc... they should be allowed to escape the 3rd world violent hell hole that fundemental Islam has turned the Middle East into.
We keep hearing liberals and apologists say, "Not all Muslims are violent." I tend to agree. Probably 25% shun all violence. 25% wouldn't personally commit violence but look the other way when other Muslims do it. And another 50% would have no problem committing violence themselves in the name of Islam.
Our goal should be to separate the 25% "good ones" from the 75% "bad ones" and remove any justification for not going all out medieval on their asses.
Bad analogy since most of these refugees are muslims who have the same ideology as the Nazis.
Maybe Cokie should do some research before shooting her mouth off. She obviously doesn’t remember, (or conveniently forgets), about the SS St Louis and other ships carrying Jews from Europe who tried to enter the US through the Port of Miami.
She forgets how these refugees were turned away and thousands had to return to Europe and were ultimately killed by the Nazis.
She also conveniently forgets the US was aware of the death camps and refused to bomb the mortuaries and crematoriums at Auschwitz and other extermination camps. This inaction resulted in the continuing attempt to exterminate Europe’s Jews. No telling how many were killed because of this.

MS St. Louis with 907 Jewish refugees were turned away by Cuba, Canada and the US in 1939.
Cookies for Brains is equating Obama/DeepState to Hitler. Someone needs to explain to her that Obama/McCain created the whole fiasco in Syria. Perhaps as she is being spoon fed her strained peas.
The Jews didn’t try to come to America with the intent to destroy us. Big difference.
