When my British husband and I decided to come back to live in the USA, I had to vouch for him. He had a skill that was needed and I had to apply at the American Embassy in London and VOUCH FOR HIM, THAT HE WOULDN’T BE A BURDEN ON THE COUNTRY. What a breath of fresh air it would be to have immigrants again that would be an asset instead of just draining our wealth. These people knew what was coming. She can apply to come back from her native country. But I suspect she will have some obstacles as she lived here ILLEGALLY for years.

My parents had to vouch for my mother’s best friend when she wanted to come here.
They had to promise they would provide housing, food, clothing, medical care, anything she would need until she was able to establish herself. She lived with us while she went back to school to fulfill the requirements necessary to get her professional credentials in line with those of the US. She went on to own a business and become a citizen. She took nothing from the government, my parents helped her but it was their choice and their gift to her.
I think anyone immigrating here should be sponsored in this same manner.
I had to do the same thing for my British Wife and it cost $10,000, which I was happy to pay
