From the start of his short, truculent and unabashedly populist inaugural address, President Trump called out the Washington establishment: “For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.”
He painted a dystopian picture of the United States and promised: “This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.”

The leftists are coming to the belated, horrified realization that they can’t control Trump by calling him names. This is outside their political experience - virtually all their political opponents roll over when scolded - and deeply upsetting. To address the problem, they are now calling him worse names and using apocalyptic language. That should do it.

Katrina insists on calling this “Trump’s con”, but he had nothing to do with either setting it up, or reaping any possible benefit with its execution. If anything, the stated goal and obvious target was the BREAKING of this vast confidence game.
The writer thought Obama’s con would last forever, but it didn’t. They lied about him and his alleged achievements, and the people saw through it.
