This was a fake news story from the get go ... the MSM created this story out of bits and pieces.
I guessing Comey thinks he doesn’t have anything to lose. Might as well stay on as long as possible. When he is finished, the democrats hate him, and he will not ever be FBI director again in any admin.
Now if that's not conspiring with a foreign country, I don't know what is.

About 30 years ago... I stayed at the Capital Hilton in DC.
A DC cop came into the main bar. The Russian Embassy had been robbed. The FBI had kicked all the DC cops out.
I remember the cop saying....The FBI....they can shred anything they want.
This sounds like.....on the advice of “counsel”.
We know that President Donald Trump plays a long game. What if Comey has been a Trump asset for a long time? Just as Governor Christy was Trump’s man inside the Republican Govenors Conference.
Another story coming from a leaker inside our national security apparatus. 1. First the story about the phone call(s) being made, followed by 2. the details of the conversation(s) being analyzed.
These are felonies.
I’d get rid of Comey. He’s been involved with the Clintons for a long time and is obviously compromised.
Hell, I could probably do a better job.

Plus, his brother was/is CFO of the Clinton Foundation. I have concerns. But if he can work with Sessions to bring down the Clinton family, he has my support.
So the FBI is secretly monitoring and investigating the executive branch when it interacts with foreign leaders? A stunning admission.

The FBI can clear anything. Who knows with those guys anymore.
