After a three-year-long Mexican standoff – today Judge Hanen rears righteously back in his chair, launches a well-chewed batch of tobaccy into the spittoon next to the swinging doors of the saloon, and deliberately says ‘git out‘….

The twitchy DOJ lawyers stumble all over themselves as they clamor desperately backwards for the exit.

Also of concern here, and I assume the judge was telegraphing, that no State has filed a statement of harm. Sort of like Roberts’ ruling on the ACA that it was a tax and should the tax prove to be onerous, then the court could strike it down. No one put forward that claim and thus bad law motors on. Opportunities lost :(

EXACTLY RIGHT. He let the DOJ skate. The government should be held to the strictest possible standard, and he let them off when the evidence of intentional misconduct was unrefutable. An example of, as Trump said at the Inauguration, words but no action. They should have been disbarred, and every “lawyer” on the team should have been investigated.

The original DACA program continues.
USCIS is still processing legal papers for illegal aliens.
Every day that goes by without action another 40-50 illegal aliens are given work papers and permission to remain here.
The judge stopped DAPA and an expansion on DACA known as DACA+, but the original DACA goes on.

President Trump must act to stop DACA immediately, at least stop accepting new applications even if they do not rescind papers already issued.

Have we forgotten that amnesty, the gang-of-eight bill, was only 48 hours from passage IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES when Eric Cantor was primaried in 2014? Even the current OMB Director nominee Rep Mick “cantalopes” Mulvaney was in support of the Go8 bill.

Every district that has a duplicitous weasel needs to do the same, especially South Carolina and Arizona.
Mulvaney is just one of South Carolina’s many elected Cheap Labor Express Republicans, almost all of their Congressional delegation are Cheap Labor Express Republicans, even the showhorse Trey Gowdy.
Arizona pretty much only elects Cheap Labor Express stooges with the exception of Trent Franks.

In this particular case, jackibutterfly, I was heading out to work shortly and didn't want to have to scroll through several pages of "Articles" to find this thread again. "bfl" the thread and under "My Comments" it's right near the top.
