The vast majority of residents living in California would like see sanctuary cities barred, a state home to multiple jurisdictions which refuse to abide by federal immigration laws.
Roughly 74 percent of California residents want to see an end to sanctuary city policies...
The issue to end sanctuary cities in the state crosses racial and party lines, with 65 percent of Hispanics registering their agreement, while 70 percent of independents, 82 percent of Republicans, and 73 percent of Democrats feel the same.

We know how important the popular vote is to Democrats. Why not put the sanctuary city idea to a referendum?
I live here also, so I would be included, but I see no other way to once and for all STOP this crap. Personally I am willing to endure a little pain to get the Job Done.
Let only legal voters vote and then keep their decisions out of court (honor their votes), and a LOT of issues will reverse, like gay marriage and abortion and gun restrictions and....

I’d like to see the responsible people (governors, mayors, police chiefs, college presidents, etc) prosecuted and jailed for wantonly breaking or interfering with the enforcement of federal law, harboring illegal aliens, harboring criminals, harboring fugitives, human trafficking, accessory, aiding and abetting, racketeering, conspiracy to defraud the citizens, etc, etc, etc.
And, btw, no federal money should be flowing to any state anyway. If a state needs money for schools, roads, hospitals, prisons, parks, welfare, etc, they should raise it within. Makes no sense to have the feds overtaxing the citizens and then doling it back to state and local governments with strings attached. Don’t see how the practice passes constitutional muster.
Guess you've never heard of gerrymandered voting districts. There's been a long-standing effort in CA to manipulate districts to favor Democrats and illegals. This is all done out of Sacramento and is as partisan as can be. My county was Republican until it was redistricted a few years ago. Now we're represented by a liberal lesbian.
Then there's the big Democrat cities: Sanfransicko, L.A. and Sacto. You'll note that our 2 Senators are from S.F. The huge big city populations are heavily union, illegal and generally liberal. They outweigh the votes of 90% of the rest of the state's geographic area, which is mostly conservative. The only thing to do is move elsewhere, which I'll do as soon as it's economically feasible.
If Californians made a ballot initiative out of this, it would pass overwhelmingly and then be overturned by an activist judge.

Prison has always been my first choice, especially since many many years ago it cost me $10,000 to get my Wife a Green Card the old fashioned way, LEGALLY!!!
First, let Trump stop federal $’s coming into sanctuary cities/counties until they start doing their job re illegals.

Is an excellent suggestion, but none of us will live long enough to see it happen.
Stopping Federal $’s to sanctuary cities and abortion clinics would be an excellent start.
Getting the illegals out of California is really the key to regaining this state.

Absolutely. The immediate solution is denying funding. I’m all for that. But sending the perps to prison would be even better. They can start with the left’s California mafia boss, Jerry Brown.
