The Left keeps insisting that unvarnished progressivism holds the key to future Democratic Party success. A new poll from WBUR suggests it might not even be the future of Democratic success in Massachusetts. Only 44 percent think Elizabeth Warren should win another term in the Senate, while slightly more say theyve seen enough:
Over four years in office, Elizabeth Warren has staked her claim as the Senates liberal lion. And many Massachusetts voters like it 51 percent view her favorably.
But according to a new WBUR poll, only 44 percent think Warren deserves reelection. Forty-six percent think voters ought to give someone else a chance.
No ones going to look at a 44 percent reelect number and think that thats a good number, said Steve Koczela, president of The MassINC Polling Group, which conducts surveys for WBUR. No ones going to look at it being close to even between reelect and give someone else a chance and think that thats reassuring.
How did it get this bad? WBURs analysis shows that Baker gets broad support across the political spectrum. Even among Democrats, Baker wins a solid +12 plurality for seeking a second term, 48/36, and 50/26 among independents. Warren, on the other hand, gets a 5/92 from Republicans and a 40/46 among independents and a surprisingly weak 61/32 from Democrats. Talk about a lack of reassurance!

If Trump makes good on all his promises, I see this old bat along with many other rats being turned out the next election.
What will help is if they just keep up with the same antics that caused them to lose over a 1,000 seats nation wide during obama’s presidency.
The only Indian I know of that is paler than Edgar Winter.
That was funny.
Is it bad for me to hope that Lizzy gets that PP Scarf caught in a Ceiling Fan?
Knowing Massachusetts, she's probably not really in danger there but she's definitely lost her luster on the national stage.
I would say I think this is a LONG shot, but not outside the realm of possibility.
It would be delicious, that’s for sure.
Who do we have that could take Fauxcahontas down?
If she loses, it doesn’t mean she can’t run for president in 2020. In fact, it gives her more time for campaigning and fundraising. (She’ll need both.)
Then she can lose the race for president, and not be in the Senate either. The best of both worlds.

True but she can do it on the taxpayers’ dime and gets more visibility if she holds the position.
We need to do all we can to make sure she runs.
What a wonderful field the Democrats have: ‘Warren, Booker, Cuomo, maybe O’Malley again, and so many other “worthies”.
Warren is an extremely stupid woman.
44% reelect support is 44% too high for this vermin.
