Mind your language, please; there are ladies present.
I have him a 9.5. He was a bit nervous/defensive at the beginning, but got onto his game quite quickly. He has a lot of knowledge at his fingertips. Great start!
Spicer should tell Acosta that he is "shrouded" for the rest of the year.

I am just so impressed by how he had all of the facts at his fingertips with no need to consult notes. Sharp like Trump.
[Yeah, the longer Spicer is on, the more confident he becomes.]
Truth tellers are confident because they tell the truth. Liars have a hard time remembering their lies.

WoW...”
The press just got told their technology/format just went the way of the dodo...
And won’t skype, by virtue of its technology, make the press wait in line & take turns & be polite?
Bout time.
MAGA!!
I liked the exchange about lying to the press. Day one it explicitly challenges both the WH and the Press to be truthful. Excellent! I’ve been around a long time and watched a lot of deception from Press Secretary’s over these decades. This question was the best of the day. The reporters are used to evasion, equivocation and lies from Presidential spokesmen as well as Presidents. Do you think they liked being lied to? Spicer is setting a new ethical standard. We are used to thinking for ourselves; they are not. I’m predicting a change for the better overall, very slowly.
At the end, the Indian got longwinded just when everyone needed to rush to file reports. They and Spice told him, “ask a question”, get to the point!
He was nothing but a spinner for the former administration, a smarmy character.

First question at @PressSec's 1st briefing went to @nypost, then Christian Broadcast net. Traditionally, @AP gets 1st Q. All out the window— Doug Sovern (@SovernNation) January 23, 2017
Been listening to the replay and that's what I heard.
Bingo! We noticed that too! Spicer will have no trouble handling these media lightweights who are masquerading as legitimate journalist.
“You would think the press people would want a bigger venue too.”
Inbred, incestuous, DC elitists press don’t won’t to let anyone else into their little club. The less room, the better.
For those who might have missed the news conference, here is the replay. It’s worth watching.

Sorry. Sometimes I forget some of us live in 1890.
And Chuck Todd and the other DNC press outlets are still going w/the picture taken several hours before the inauguration.
They KNOW about CNN’s picture but must lie so they can call Sean a liar
They are so transparent.
Someone handed him a note clarifying the point that no Trump staffers were seated in the front row during Trump’ CIA event, despite what the “reporter” was alleging.
Do you have a problem with the fact-checking?
Do/did you talk that way in the presence of your mother?
No big deal, this wasn't a political debate or a game show. It was a news conference.
