In retrospect I can honestly say that is the weekend she lost he election.
The Basket of Deplorables and The September 11th Video did incalculable damage to her and her campaign.
No doubt, those two incidents did a lot of damage to her campaign, but they were merely stand-out examples of many other self inflicted wounds she suffered.
Others were:
Her coughing fits.
The Podesta emails.
Her absences from the campaign trail.
The hideous rest home outfits.
Her collusion with the DNC to steal the nomination from Bernie.
Her lack of a coherent message or campaign theme.
Getting schlonged in the debates by Trump.
The sycophant press, whose bootlicking actually hurt her.
Her complete lack of charisma, or ability to inspire.
The fact that she was under FBI investigation during the campaign.
Her and Bill's 30 year track record of scandals stuck to her like glue.
Barack Obama.
The widespread perception that she and her husband were too long on the national stage.
The clear evidence that she suffers from some mysterious health issue.
The fact that she has never demonstrated the slightest suitability for the job of CIC.
The Clinton foundations.
Her sheer unlikeability factor.
After the coughing fit in Cleveland and the collapse on 9/11, I never thought she would physically get through three debates. She did, but only God and her quack doctor know how much spackling and cheap Ten High it took to pull that off.
The collapse was bad, and she failed to dispel the nagging doubts about her health by running a low-energy campaign. Trump’s dynamic schedule made for a huge contrast.
Elections are often won and lost on a visceral reaction to an event that never gets overcome, and so I agree with you. This cost her the election.
