Watched a History Channel documentary on Trump which finished with Chuckie Todd. He said he speaks for a large portion of the people who feel they have no voice.
He added, people who do not understand how a Billionaire relates to Joe and Jane Lunchpail, they see a person who the same people who put him down put them down and they say, I will stick with him.
Now that is funny. They bitch and moan, these mighty Elitists, they have the power of the TV and ink with barrels of paper. They also have EXTREMELY short memories and DO THEY NOT CARE, that the rest of America had no voice for the past EIGHT + years.
Yes, please include the GOPe in the above cadre of Elitists
He added, people who do not understand how a Billionaire relates to Joe and Jane Lunchpail, they see a person who the same people who put him down put them down and they say, I will stick with him.

A slightly different take .... both are valid, IMO:
I saw a comment on Trump’s/POTUS Facebook page .... the guy was thanking Trump for giving up his “billionaire life” and choosing “us” .... meaning the American people. I thought that was a beautiful sentiment & it’s why so many people believe Trump, if not love him. Actions speak louder than words ... he’s already acted by giving up his life as a businessman for one of public service.
