President Obamas older daughter, Malia, embarked on a secret three-month educational trip through the mountains and jungles of Bolivia and Peru with no special treatment allowed except for the security detail.
Malia, who deferred her acceptance to Harvard for a year, spent October and November traveling with a group of teens through the Colorado-based Where There Be Dragons organization, which says it offers young minds a chance to examine current political trends, social movements and environmental conservation efforts in Peru and Bolivia.
Photos emerged Thursday showing the 18-year-old posing for a picture during a jaunt through Bolivias Cordillera Real mountain region.

It is smart for the children of ANY high-profile individual to be as anonymous as possible, particularly when traveling out-of-country. The trip might be questioned, but not the secrecy.
