A federal civil rights lawsuit has been filed on behalf of five people who say they were discriminated against while trying to take part in a Black Lives Matter demonstration at Elvis Presleys Graceland.
The protest coincided with an annual candlelight vigil held by fans at the singers home on the Aug. 15 anniversary of his death. [ ]
The lawsuit claims several people were denied entry to the vigil by Memphis police because they are black. It says others were asked to leave a public sidewalk after saying black lives matter.

BLM activists are racists. And as a result, they are liars too.
The reason why they were denied is patently obvious. They were there to disrupt and agitate.
They should have been arrested.
What the he’ll did elvis ever do to them?
While the right to protest is protected, the right to protest in a private event is not.
Personally I am getting sick and tired of the past 50 years of nothing but protest from the left. Every since Viet Nam it is one thing after another.
The sad thing is,t he government seldom really punishes those that turn peaceful protest into violent ones (which used to be called riots).
The First Amendment stipulates that the government cannot abridge “the right of the people peaceably to assemble”, which is not what Black Lies Matter doesthey are always belligerent.
Don’t try to lay no boogie woogie on the king of rock n roll!
Leftists gotta hate.
Snowflakes have been voted out of office all over the United States... Snowflakes who turn violent in the future - - will be arrested. The country has spoken - we're sick of home-grown liberal terrorists.
A textbook case on how to manufacture a “racial” incident.
People were denied access based on there behavior and there intent open intent to disrupt. Graceland is a private operation, “open to the public” or not, and as a private operation it can decide who gets access and who doesn’t.
BLM learns their game won’t play every where.
