Well done
I think I’d agree with that - but for different reasons.
I don’t give McCain a pass. His hands are dirty. He has been used by the anti-Trump and anti-conservative and anti-American crowd for many years. At least as far back as his first run at the Presidency.
He is not an honest man and definitely not an intelligent one.
That said, how would an honest man have proceeded if this information had come to him? In other words, if you received information which was damaging to Trump, would you hide it? I would not, because that would make me part of the swamp which covers up corruption. The only difference is that it would be covering up corruption on the right or outside of the Uniparty.
So what to do? Lots of options. One would be to ask Trump about it directly. Another would be to call a meeting with appropriate people and include Trump in the meeting, possibly briefing him beforehand so he would not be blind-sided. A third option would be to do a little digging on my own (i.e., if I were a Senator, I would do this with the help of my many, many contacts in government and the intelligence agencies. Don’t tell me McCain has no capacity to do this.)
What I would NOT do is leak the information to the media without first verifying its truth.
Used? He's the ring leader.
McShame trying to COVER HIS ARSS, HE handed the doc over to the FBI licking his chops the whole time!!! I can’t stand this FOOL!!! Hero maverick my butt!!!
>> He’s the ring leader.
Just my opinion, but I don’t think he is. I think he is way too stupid to be the ring leader. The same way that 0vomit is way too stupid to have gotten himself elected to any office, much less POTUS.
When I say “used” I don’t mean he is innocent. He is all to eager to grab the bait. With someone like McCain, it is very easy to see what motivates him and which bait he will grab. All you have to do is feed it to him the right way and then watch him run with it. He is 100% guilty of trying to sabotage Trump, he knew exactly what he was trying to do, but he is no mastermind.
Just my opinion, and trying to explain why I think so. Not trying to start an argument.
Best FReegards.
The more impactful and harmful damage could have been done had McLame dropped the entire thing “anonymously” or publicly into the public sphere immediately upon receipt.
I’m sorry but his actions at least to me don’t scream malicious intent
