Trump needs to ignore Lewis. All he is doing with these tweets is elevating Lewis status as an equal to the president elect.

At the very least, Trump can have his subordinates go after Lewis. He needs to stay out of the personal attacks, to be more presidential.

This is what Obama always did. He would have his underlings do all the attacking while appearing to take the high road. This tactic works with most of the stupid American public.

“Trump needs to ignore Lewis. “

Nope.

“At the very least, Trump can have his subordinates go after Lewis. He needs to stay out of the personal attacks, to be more presidential.”

You mean be more like George W..

Look, it is makes you uncomfortable that a GOP president isnt taking the bullsh*t from these people, then just vote for the GOPe candidate in 2020, and don’t complain in the future about them not “taking the gloves off” or “playing by Queensbury rules”.

People here wanted a revolution. Well you damn well have one. Either participate or go home.

Leaving it up to some subordinate isnt setting the record straight, it is just playing to the press expecting that people will just somehow get the truth after the press gets around to publishing it....as if they would.

“This is what Obama always did. He would have his underlings do all the attacking while appearing to take the high road. This tactic works with most of the stupid American public.”

It “worked” because the press amplified their side and covered for them.

Do you think they are going to do that for Trump? Yeah, didn’t think so either.

Therein lies the problem.

From Donald Trump down through his transition team, and all the way down to the janitorial staff at Trump Tower ... Trump himself is the only one who would ever bother wasting his time with this sh!t.

Nope. He's bursting the liberal balloon right in front of people.

Disagree! Trump is entitled to his own style. Like it or lump it, Trump is not going to be pushed around by anybody and Lewis is the big loser on this one. Take a look at the blacks denouncing him....even a former Black Panther! These idiots and long time suckers on the government teat need to be flushed out of the system. Lewis needs to go right along with all the rest of the big mouthed nothings..

These tweets by Trump this morning instantly reached over 20,000,000 people directly. That's more people than all the networks combined. And we aren't even counting the additional millions people who will get this re-tweeted.

This kind of direct reach to the people is going to make a lot of liberals think twice before taking on the President of the United States. At least they will fact-check what they say.

John Lewis was operating under the old rules of the game where he could say whatever he wanted, knowing that the conventional media would back him up and that the Republicans would cower in silence, out of fear of being labeled racists.

The game has changed.

No Trump does NOT need to ignore him. That’s what W did and he became a punching bag totally destroyed by the left

He need to let these people know there will be a price to pay. Cut their staff budget to one person, eliminate their parking spot or get rid of their use of government cars. Make them fly home economy. There are a thousand ways.

Trump needs to ignore Lewis.

He needs to ignore that twitter account, except to convey information about what he is doing to better the country and to correct the misinformation by the MSM. I think he would be wise to back way off on the personal attacks, even when the other party started it. Just my opinion.

Ain't going to happen! Grab hold of your pearls and clutch them.

We don’t need the “old gotcha” press conferences with the whining and lying liberal mediots attacking our president. We are tired of the mediots lying and telling us what to believe and how to vote! Ban them from the White House. Trump’s comments and statements are for his voters, and we don’t need lying liberal mediots to tell us what he says to us.

Official Washington is being traumatized by the tweets of Donald Trump.

Politico has chronicled the pearl clutching concern by the inside the beltway types over Trump's tweets. It seems Trump speaking directly to the people via Twitter is causing a crisis among mediots, politicians and lobbyists, who just don't know how to handle it as reflected in the article title, Trump’s Twitter feed traumatizes Washington.

Lewis, the Gold Star parents, and the disabled journo were and are, ‘tar babies’. They present easy targets but once hit they hold the missile fast due to their status and/or past. Additional strikes cause further entrapment. The solution is to ignore them or employ surrogates. My personal preference is to let stupid stand in the corner.

Wrong! What Trump is doing is exactly what got him elected and is exactly what we need.
