President-elect Donald Trump says his plan to replace the nations health care law will include insurance for everybody.
Trump made the comment in an interview with the Washington Post published on Sunday.
The president-elect says: Were going to have insurance for everybody. There was a philosophy in some circles that if you cant pay for it, you dont get it. Thats not going to happen with us.

Let the welfare folks use the VA system.
Pull the vets out of the VA system and put them into the regular hospitals, etc.
It was to get the healthy working class to pay for them....nothing new and if they didn't buy insurance...they were fined and got nothing.
We'll see what happens...but I'd guess they're 95% complete with a new plan.
Most pre-existing conditions are in your genes. Ridiculous to say no insurance for you.
Tweets are tweats,
As many Obamacare purchasers have learned, having “insurance” means very little unless there are a number of good doctors, willing to take that insurance, within driving distance.
I hope that part of the plan is how to pay for it.
Trump needs to cut back on his tweeting and pronouncements, get through the inauguration, then get with his advisers and cabinet members and formulate some more specific plans and policy initiatives to carry out his agenda.
_____________
Tweets take seconds. We need him to respond rapidly to the media without waiting for a press conference that will be spun against him and us.
So far, he’s proving to be a multi-tasker who sleeps little and manages to obviate the media gatekeepers before any of them are pouring their first cup of fair trade coffee.
He’s 4 days from Inauguration and the new health care plan is drafted and ready to go. He jawboned job returns while PEOTUS. He’s handling the IC/Russia dangers all at the same time.
People around me bitch that the radio news is all slanted, even on the stations that carry conservative talk. I tell them to follow DJT’s tweets. Takes seconds and you know his response, which makes more sense than anything else.
Next... we're paying pharmaceutical companies premium prices while the rest of the world gets the drugs dirt cheap. This needs to stop. Also, I've seen several good drugs banned by the FDA (such as Darvocet) and replaced by more expensive, less effective and more dangerous drugs to appease the $$ going to big pharma.
Hospitals need to quit letting people use our emergency rooms like clinics. Illegals glut the ERs because they know they cannot be turned away and they never pay up. I have humanitarian compassion just as much as the next person, but it really fries me to see true emergencies delayed because of these people who could be treated in a clinic.
IMHO, we had better care when the bean counters weren't in charge and most hospitals were doctor-owned. All the regulations and high liability drove them to sell out to corporations... and it's been downhill ever since.
One last word on the illegals if you don't think they've been a burden on our healthcare system,,,check out how many of them outnumber paying citizens in our hospital maternity wards. It's shocking.... and WE are paying for it. /rant
Was the Constitution updated in the last few weeks and I missed it?
Are you volunteering to pay for it?
More little clinics with a well trained PA to handle not so emergency cases would be cheaper and faster than an ER.
Kick off all illegals and refugees. Make prisoners pay co-pays for health care.
Reduce the cost of meds, Big Pharma is making BILLIONS as are docs off our health care.
Put congress on same plan.
Make congress pay back all the Medicare money. Pay docs timely, and at a reasonable reimbursement. Include Glasses and hearing aids for seniors. Even with a co-pay. If there is a medical reason for a so called ‘cosmetic’ procedure it should be covered. Lots of people have lost hearing and sight due to bad surgeries and Lasix can fix some of that and hearing aids. And don’t discriminate on medical issues. Peripheral Neuropathy is PN, no matter the cause, why should a Diabetic be covered at 100% and a spinal patient at 75%? Same doc, same med, same treatments.
Better training of Primaries. They lack a lot of medical knowledge. If a patient has high Blood Sugar send them to an ENDO instead of an untrained Primary treating them. Same goes for Thyroid issues. Natural Paths for those who don’t want drugs.
“It was just as bad then.”
No, it was not! “Obamacare” made the situation vastly worse than it was before. For some reason you seem to have an axe to grind, you keep on insisting that Obamacare did not make things worse but it most certainly did. You may as well look at the results of a ten car collision and pretend that no damage was done.
“Everyone needs coverage. Everyone.”
So that’s it, you are just a socialist. There is no reason why everyone who needs something is entitled to receive it by the government forcing someone else to pay for it. That kind of thinking has always led to disaster and always will. Your thinking is very immature. Health care is not a “natural human right”, that is just childish. I spend a considerable amount of my time doing things to help others and am fortunate enough to have some neighbors who are willing to help me if I need it but none of us is foolish enough to think that we have a “natural human right” to DEMAND anything of anyone else. I put the term in quotation marks because it is so often used by socialists. I am not saying that you have used it.
“Trump needs to cut back on his tweeting...”
No he doesn’t. It allows him to speak directly to the American people without the filter & lies of the lying media.
Some of them don't have insurance because they make bad choices, and they choose not to be covered. Some of them choose tattoos, and $300 Nikes, spinner rims on their cars, and $200/month cable and cell phone plans. They make choices about where they spend their money, but when you ask them to spend money on a $50 prescription at CVS, they scream "outrageous!"
You can (Trump or Congress) create an environment where insurance can be made available, even for those with low incomes. But you can't prevent people from making bad choices (or no choices.)
Lol, I've been supporting Trump since 2011 and the issues that got him elected for twenty-five or thirty years. But some of his recent tweets have only created pointless news stories that the MSM will harp on for days. Those are a distraction and accomplish nothing.
It's time for him to be more selective with his tweets and to get with his cabinet and advisers and develop more detailed plans to accomplish his agenda, and then tweet about those.
“Congress needs to get out of the insurance business. It is not in the constitution...”

John Roberts disagrees.
I want health savings account. I pay around $3,500 a year.
It adds up as you do not use that amount.
I also want to be able to cash in what I do not use and also buy additional care. Example for major illness.
The really poor who benifited from Obamacare are a small % of the population—the down and out, working poor, welfare people, etc... Make up a program for them that the government pays for—BUT Make it just basic—CUBA Care—No right thinking America would want that—no electives etc...
This is what socialism brings. You can bet if a politician broke their ankle there would no wait for treatment.
Shocking photos show a pensioner who broke her ankle being kept dry by a friend’s umbrella as she waited in the cold for an ambulance for THREE hours
