The “Innocence of Muslims” video [or videos] was uploaded in June or July 2012 according to other timelines. Was mentioned in the Egyptian press a day or two before by one salafist cleric, IIRC. Received no real hits, though, until Benghazi.

The dubbed version came later in Sept.
It had been on youtube as “Muhammad Movie Trailer”. On 9/11/12 it was uploaded as “Innocence of Muslims”.

Why would they do that? We told Putin we are going to a world without nukes. How dare they double cross us like that. The Russians are cruising for a nice little war, I say! They just need to get their mitts off of anywhere where we want to go and tell the folks how to live their lives. Or else!

I don’t see anything new in terms of facts; most of it is commentary and backstory; some of it cites unreliable sources such as Ray McGovern and L. Fletcher Prouty.
