Lecturers who are '60 year old white men' are unable to teach black and minority ethnic (BME) people, students have complained.
The students, who are studying at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), said under-representation of black people among the teaching staff, relative to the student body, made students feel 'isolated', unable to engage with their studies and lecturers.

Not the shooting part but this has been part of the leftist agenda for a long while, here in America. Take control of the schools and you control the future of America. All it takes is getting the right people in the hiring positions and then it is all over. Ask Soros why he is interfering with the SoS positions all over the USA. Same rationale.
These white profs racists. They hate white students. We should only have blacks profs like Williams and Sowell or Thomas. Of course they would be considered racist as well because they think “white”. I had plenty of these white profs and the blacks are ill served by them but so is everyone else.
Excuses, excuses.
Just shut up and learn.
As usual the ones screaming racism are the real intolerant racists in the conversation.
Schools have already become totally re-segregated. Dorms, cafeterias, clubs, fraternities, libraries, study groups, even some classes are all Black. Whites trying to attend or enroll are simply told to leave under threat of physical violence.
Even in some “good” public high schools, black students decree that certain rooms or sections of the cafeteria or library are for them only.
Any excuse to NOT have to learn. Gotta hang onto that “culture” that’s been so effective for them thus far........
The real reason for saying this is that they don’t want Blacks to learn the moral and ethical values that are at the basis of the founding of this country. The left rejects our value system.
Problem is, that the “value system” that the kids get in their homes, is not compatible with ours.
Just where do you think it originated?!
Um. . .guys, it was the white baby boomer men and women who supported and helped pass civil rights legislation. Throughout history, it was the old white guys in the west, of Christendom, who fought for and supported greater inclusion. Where else in the world is it even a topic? We should not be blaming them for what they overcame because it wasn’t fast enough, we should be thanking them that they did it at all.
It is people graduating from colleges like this that make life intolerable at time. Where else but government could someone get a job with a degree from that place?
Definitely originates in the US. That said, when sacrosanct university tenure bumps up against the crap it’s been pumping into mainstream culture for 50 years, can’t help but buy popcorn in bulk.
They can’t be taught because they are not bright enough to learn.
The only reason they are marginal now is because of integration. But hey, segregate, and see what it gets ‘em. The blacks have been destroyed because of the educational system, and the failure of the family structure is a large contribution to that failure.
Not just the schools, the sciences (healthcare by which I mean CDC, NASA, and others), the media and entertainment and history.
A cultural revolution is going on, burying the past. Michelle Obama herself said that history was going to have to change.
Mao and the muslims DESTROY evidence of the past, Hollywood and the SJWs do that too.
Some in the young crowd today are stronger disciples of the rhetoric and believe that the old people, while correct in some of their thinking, didn’t do enough or say enough and therefore are still “sinners” in the sjw world.
Isn’t it said that “studying” is “acting white”?
And sometimes the blue collar so-called ‘working class’ will likewise pressure those peers who are trying to better their minds. They are the crabs who pull the others BACK into the bucket.
I couldn’t ‘relate’ to a lot of my professors at university.
But that was The Olden Days, I had to suck it up, learn the material and make the grade.
At freshman orientation we were told 50% of us wouldn’t make it to graduation. They were correct. Even people I knew had scored well above me on the SAT’s couldn’t hack it.
They are why we can’t go to the stars.
Several years ago there was a documentary about the concept of offworld emigration to a satellite or colony away from Earth.
The talking heads were saying how all cultures and economic experiences should be included in this new society.
Isn’t Darwinian science that the strongest (ideas and achievers) “win”?
What are the “poor” going to “contribute” (especially in a tiny community where only an infinitesimally small representation of Earth is going to travel) to the colony?
Should there be language barriers (people from 88 different lands)?
Didn’t grasp the concept of clean water in thousands of years?
I do think, the strongest and sharpest were always the ones to push on, or the ones that were were always driven by necessity to become so. Always stronger than the ones left behind.
