A growing number of Democratic lawmakers are boycotting President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, particularly after revelations of Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 election and his rebuke of civil rights icon John Lewis on Saturday.
Some members of Congress have said they will be protesting in DC and in their districts instead.

I would hope that the electorate sees that the Demo party has become the party of bad behavior.
Glad to see them out of power. It is infantile to boycott the Inaugeral and I have become weary of their violent and non-violent hissy fits.
I am looking forward to the ceremonies. Should be fun.
Rep. Lewis has been there 30 years....would be interesting to add up the number of YEARS each of these people has been in DC....

And now Jennifer Holliday just backed out of her agreement to perform at the inauguration. Says she has to stand with lgbtq community.

They had best hope they never get the caricature of a President they have constructed in their own minds. That cartoon character would have them picked up in the night and disappeared.
Let’s see they are boycotting their candidate’s victorious opponent because they are:
Hetrophobic, racist (anti-Caucasian), sexist (anti-male), sore losers, small minded, self-centered politicians, and closet communists.
My give-a crap meter is registering 0.0000. And it’s accurate to four places. Seriously, I no longer am outraged reading about the Dem antics described on this board; now, I find it somewhat entertaining.
If we can weather this for a few months, the Dems will just stroke out and it will be fairly smooth sailing from there.
