The NAACP President Cornell William Brooks is calling on Donald Trump to apologize to Alabama Rep. John Lewis, after attacking the civil rights icon in a series of tweets.
“By disrespecting John Lewis, Donald Trump dishonored Lewis' sacrifice & demeaned Americans & the rights, he nearly died (for). Apologize,” Brooks tweeted.

So, if John Lewis murdered someone, you can’t say bad things about his Job performance because he was part of the Civil Rights movement in the 60’s?
NAACP has ceased to be an entity that helps blacks.
It does the contrary.
NAACP is exactly a local and national voting block tool used by black political junkies to advance their careers and get goodies from local and national politicians and companies via blackmail. It is also used locally to get local minority contracts for government work via the same guilt and blackmail.
NAACP also is simply a status symbol for upper class blacks who are just as prejudiced against poorer members of their own race, namely, meaning bigotry of classicism. There are countless balls and awards banquets for “who is the most important, successful black person” , in every large city. You will not find anyone at these balls and banquets making under $75k/yr. Meanwhile, kickbacks, corruption, cronyism, and government programs led by the banquet attendees and award recipients keep the fatherlessness and b-on-b crime levels sky high.
I would like to see some blacks speak out on this and break ranks.
When you hear ‘Tom’ or ‘Uncle Tom’s or sellout...think of these turds who have stolen from their people, Americans, and simply work for the rich, white liberals in power. ‘Yes, massa!’ that is what these house slaves say.
Those black NAACP congressmen who protest Trump are a fine example of such refuse.

As soon as Lewis apologizes to tea party protestors for fabricating the story about how they spat on him and called shouted racial insults at the Obamacare protest in 2011.

Trump was insulted and disrespected by Lewis. The President-Elect certainly did not attack Lewis any more than he attacked con man Kahn.
