In what way is a Fiat car built in another country the product of an “American auto maker”.

Talk of Trump's arm-twisting is dominating this week's Detroit Auto Show, said Bill Vlasic and Neal Boudette at The New York Times. With a few admonishing tweets, the president-elect "has changed the focus of the show from what new vehicles are on display to where they are made."

Love it! America could become the great land of opportunity and optimism once again. So much winning!

God forbid that these American branded vehicles that have taken advantage of American Bankruptcy, ownership, courts and property laws so much as be expected to pay at least a bit of heed to the tax payers who bailed out 2/3 rds of their industry and saved the executives and union thugs their massive salaries and benefits.

There is a new sheriff in town and American benefits demand some American responsibility to the American middle class worker and tax payer that has been so abused by large corporations and even larger government for far too long.
