I have a buddy in the scrap business, has his own GS 3, and owns a bunch of locations, he is going to have to find out how to run his shredders 36 hours/day!

do you remember the steel plants in Gary in the 40s through 70s? This was before cheap imported steel drove them out of business and the manufacturers heading overseas instead of renovating our domestic steel mills?

Damn tough to beat a campaign ad that shows shift change at a steel mill.
Now I need to see some video of a closed door meeting with the rank and file beating the crap out of their shop stewards.

Mr. Norris said more than half of the oil and gas pipe used domestically is imported. We feel that is going to change because it has to change, he said. There is renewed optimism in the country for domestic manufacturing. This is *fantastic* news! And Obozo promised these were the manufacturing jobs that were never going to come back. Let's roll, America!

No imports? Maybe he wants to focus on the exports and forget about the imports?

Does anyone sense a prosperity heading our way. A prosper economy that may just rival the 80’s & 90’s? Ever since, Donald Trump won the presidency I have this inner thing of Entrepreneurship spirit growing in me. I always wanted to start a business, and that is one of my goals. Not sure how I will reach it, but folks we are truly living in a historical interesting time.

The whole steel industry took a beating in Pittsburgh area. It was a combination of Steel companies not willing to modernize and the unions which bled the company dry. And if it does make a come back here look for Trump and the GOP to be heros.
