U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power urged the Trump administration on Friday not to cut funding to the United Nations, warning that this would be detrimental to U.S. interests and benefit countries like China and Russia.
“We lead the world, in part, by leading at the United Nations,” Power stressed at her final press conference before leaving the U.S. Mission on Jan. 20 when Barack Obama’s presidency ends and Donald Trump is inaugurated as president.
Supporters of Israel in the U.S. Congress have introduced a number of bills to cut off U.N. funding to protest Obama’s decision to allow the adoption of a Security Council resolution in December condemning Israel’s construction of settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, which the Palestinians want for their future state.
The United States pays 22 percent of the U.N.’s regular operating budget and 25 percent of the budget for its 16 far-flung peacekeeping missions where over 100,000 troops and police are deployed. …

My only motivation for that comment I made is that I really really... did I say really? despise the UN (as well as all utopian bulls**t).
Watching the UN building burn down and all those thieves, pervs, murderers and other assorted types of true scrumbagers being frog marched to their transport out of our country would be several hours of very entertaining TV.
Samantha Power has less credibility than Pee-wee Herman.
The US wouldn’t be the one losing clout, the UN would.
She became a female John Kerry, morphing under Hussein’s rule. Sad case.
The Globalist thugs can get UN approval for all sorts of interventions the US Congress would never approve of, that’s the reason they love the UN.

Are you serious? The UN also CONDEMNS the US and Israel while picking their noses.
Donald should keep the UN on his deal table, is what I am saying.
I haven’t ever heard of Donald turning down a resource that he first didn’t have diligently examined.
That’s assuming that the building cannot house an operation more gainful to the world. The festering state of the present UN is largely due to an America which was way more weak than it needed to be.
If there’s a way to use the UN to his advantage, he’ll find it.
Also without us there, Israel will the main target at every meeting.
Can’t use a communistic organization to one’s advantage.
If they try to kick us out, we can veto it.
The entire cancer of the UN needs to be “vetoed” out of existence.

America (Christian gospel) and Israel (Judaism) have both crammed the Lion of Judah into a cage of unbelief so small that he can hardly meow, let alone roar. Because He lives in the praises of His people. My life has been unusual and I have had a sojourn in Jesus through the Jewish faith system as well as currently being solidly in Christendom. Oy vey, the Father in heaven must be going about Jewish worship. It’s more, far more, about the sages and rabbis than it is about Him. Christianity doesn’t have too much to boast about either — even in the Reformation it kept many characteristics of being about churches, rather than about the Lord who really has a wild card to do anything the bible says He can do. This is why Donald Trump, with his audacious vision which looks like it came from the Lord’s mouth, isn’t being religious about it. Why would he, if all he knew of religion was his ancient, creaky Presbyterian church?
Well, the Lion of Judah is getting tired of all this and the cage is beginning to rattle violently as He gets ready to break the bars. As Jesus said, if the people won’t praise, then God will make the stones praise! I’m watching what looks like the start of an odd phenomenon among Hindus. They are finding Jesus — Jesus in fact is rather robustly targeting them — and because they tend to really mean it when they worship a god, much power is being raised from this worship. It is as though the transition from Jews to Christians has gone a third step! Because the Christians of our churches would mostly only praise politely (let’s not offend the devil’s people!) Jesus is going wherever else He can.
The guy who pays the fiddler gets to call the tune. Except when the US is paying. Then some one else calls the tune?
