President-elect Donald Trumps pick for national security adviser, among the most important jobs in the still-forming Trump administration, has said some pretty incendiary things on the Internet.
Before being tapped to advise Trump on national security issues, retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn was an intelligence officer and head of the Defense Intelligence Agency under President Obama until he was removed from his command in 2014 over his leadership style. Flynn went on to criticize some of his superiors, including Obama, regarding their stances on Islamist extremism. He also traveled to Russia on a trip paid for by state-run media and met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Flynn said that he was using the trip to advance U.S. interests.
Before joining the Trump campaign and drawing the ire of his colleagues for using his rank to support a political campaign that would often disparage the very establishment he had just departed, Flynn was well-regarded by his colleagues.
In his book My Share of the Task, retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal wrote that Flynn was pure energy and had an uncanny ability to digest information, marshal his people, resources and energy to make it happen.
Apart from his military career and political ascension, Flynn also has a digital legacy that is problematic. Below are some of his tweets over the course of the Trump campaign. Ryan Lizza, a writer with the New Yorker, also put a number of Flynns tweets on his feed Thursday night.

Imo, those who use ‘islamophobic’ seriously need to be labeled for what they so obviously are. Active supporters of the enemy, and therefore, enemy themselves.
The purpose of an enemy is to provide something to be closed with and destroyed, without mercy or hesitation... non-metaphorically speaking, of course.
Is fear of Pit Bull dogs irrational? Is there any question that this breed disproportionately attacks and maims or kills people, compared to other breeds? The incidents are frequent and well documented. I’m hard pressed to recall reports of Labs or Beagles killing people. So, a healthy respect and wariness of Pit Bulls is completely rational, IMO.
Similarly, I cannot recall any cases of Presbyterians, Baptists, Lutherans, or Catholics slaughtering people and yelling “God is great”. Thus, a fear of these would indeed be irrational. But, over and over, we see vicious attacks by Muslims. Thus, fear of Muslims is very rational.
Just think of them as Nazis without their swastikas.
Look up lawsuits for Pitt bull attacks for the county you live in.
I did a year ago. The damage these dogs do is incredible. They rip ears off of kids, rip faces off of people. Some of the payouts are over half a million.
Any person with a brain avoids Pitt bulls. Now think about this, Muslims are much more lethal than a Pitt bull.
I do not fear getting my head chopped off, do you? I do not fear getting mugged or beaten either. But maybe my CCW has something to do with that.
There would be no need to fear the muslims if we had an executive and legislative branch whose objective is to protect the American people against these monsters. Up to now we have only heard lots of promises but seen few deeds. The only repellent agency against Islam so far have been our heroic Armed Forces and police.
Our friends on the Democrat/Socialist/Communist Left and their lackeys/cronies tell us that it's "racist" to fear getting robbed/assaulted/raped/run over/machine-gunned/bombed by their armed wing, Islam.
The whole continent of Europe allowed itself to sucker itself into such suicidal naive stupidity, now they're finished.
It's perfectly historically accurate to associate political Islam with the Nazi era, as they had similar goals, the extermination of all Jews.
The modern symbol of Islam should be the big crescent with a swastika replacing the star.
Islam demands the extermination of the 'Saturday people' first, then the 'Sunday people'.
Meanwhile they're killing their own until a sect of them can get hold of nuclear weapons until they can fulfill Allah's will and extinguish all life everywhere, forever.
That is the will of Allah.

“Problematic?”...for who?
Here is the more from this Churchill quote-—
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
The quote is from his book, The River War in the 2 vol. 1899 edition. It was a history of the campaign against the Muslim Dervishes in the Soudan. Ironically this quote was deleted from the subsequent 1 vol. editions.
Why would anyone not fear Islam? Must practitioners of PC inflict their stupidity upon the rest of us?
Or being set on fire.
I imagine that passage is required reading in every university in America.

In the TransAtlantic Plot - the one where Islamic terrorists planned to use drink bottles filled with the peroxide based explosive TATP ...part of their plot was hiding the bottles in a baby stroller with one female terrorist’s baby.
