A metro-general with no combat experience! What good is he?
WoW !!!
I’m not liking the sound of this change-over. It seems that it leaves the troops without a leader in a very tenuous time .. the middle of the transition of power.
This is really bothering me.
Maybe we should all start contacting our Congress person and screaming .. because I don’t like the sound of this at all.
But .. I don’t think Mattis has any authority over National Guard troops .. does he ..??
Thanks - was wondering why everyone was so confused, when it was clearly stated when I read the article.
I am very concerned about this Calexit thing. Been researching it a bit. Somehow or other they are planning to put themselves under the UN in conjunction with seceding from the USA. The group that has been formed to push for this has some reps from radical groups including gangs, and La Rasa.
Some of the allegations about their ideas are reminiscent of the Weather Underground crap from the 60s.
Fact is we can’t afford to let California go, and we also need to fight the Chinese off - they’d like to have a beach head there, and a bread basket for their people - I have no doubt. I here they are buying up Hollywood, so we’ll be seeing lots of pro Chicom propaganda soon I’m sure.
So, does this tell us that maybe the Commanding Officer did not like Trump and wanted to be relieved of duty.
Well .. in that case, good riddance. It’s just that if this turns out to be some coordinated effort by the DemocRATS to harm Trump in any way .. THERE WILL BE CIVIL WAR.
This is a WaPo story. Who knows, fake, or true? And, why would this info be released now?
What SHOULD be bothering you is that the commander of troops in the capital city, drawn from the population of that city (a city which gave HRC 95% of the vote) needs to be removed within the first 30 seconds of a new Administration.
This was NOT Obama’s doing - it was Trump and his military people who pulled the trigger on this one.
The question is, why?
I’m very concerned that the Obama loyalists in the military may be planning something for next Friday, that the commander of troops in the capital would have to be a key player, and that the decision to remove him as soon as Trump takes his hand off the Bible means there is great danger.
a) they couldn't survive w/o the other 56 states' cash
b) we have too many critical military assets there, along with the commercial ports/infrastructure
c) troops would be called in to put a rapid stop to any serious attempt

ps: CA's recent massive fraud massively validates the Founders' insistence on an Electoral College
I read that the National Guard is under state control unless mobilized for a federal event (such as this), then they are under the feds.
If they fall under the fed, I assume the President can delegate this to whomever he chooses.
Who knows about the National Guard chain of command? Anyone?
DC is not a State. The DC National Guard is authorized by Congress and commanded (at the moment) by President Barack Hussein Obama.
If they are going to stop Trump, the DC Guard is the tip of the spear.
I often think how amazing those men were who wrote the constitution. I am ok with the move to split California into North and South, but I hope the Calexit turns out to be a big nothing.

The way to bypass event security on Inauguration Day, is to have your weapons pre-cached inside the security perimeter
What I haven’t seen mentioned so far:
The National Guard’s prescribed functions include THE ENFORCEMENT OF MARTIAL LAW.
Ok. Hold that thought.
Now consider this: the commies’ planned disruptions are not likely to wait until the swearing in is completed, and commence at exactly 12:01 pm.
No. Chaos will be well underway hours, or even the day before. Their well-publicized goal is to prevent Trump from being sworn in.
Now, do we believe Obama has any interest in stopping any rioting? If anything, he wants another Baltimore / Ferguson X 10.
He wants chaos at fever pitch.
But we know he’s a liar; he could easily CLAIM a desire for civil order /peaceful transition, while seizing the opportunity to declare martial law ostensibly to accomplish that (”Gosh, folks. I had no choice!) but in fact to keep himself in office.
In that context, why would he remove the NG commander effective 12:01?
That seems counterintuitive. It indicates that, if indeed Obama is the one who canned Schwarz, he wants Trump to inherit a mess on the streets with nobody in charge, but that he does want Trump in the Oval Office.
OR, instead it might indicate Obama knows Schwarz wasn’t on board with the plan, and he’s got Schwarz’s replacement in his back pocket, TBA @ 12:02. Remember, Obama has been purging the military for awhile.
The flip side of all this is, maybe Schwarz was on board with it (”Jes following orders, Boss!”) and Trump got wind of it.
The discovery of guns hidden along the route suggests this scenario.
Trump may already know that he’ll be walking into a declared martial law situation, and he knows he can’t do anything about it until he’s sworn in. So he sent out the advance memo to Schwarz-—”You’re fired!”—and he’s got Schwarz’s replacement in HIS back pocket.
Boom. Checkmate.
this story has been completely rewritten since it was originally posted this morning, with no notice of the rewrite.
the original story made mentioned ONLY the memo it supposedly “obtained” and said NOTHING at all about standard letters of resignation, nor did it quote anonymous “military” officials, AND it said it had received no comment at all from the Trump people. The article implied there way some kind of craziness behind the change based solely on this secret memo they had, strongly making people think that Trump fired this guy in midstream.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands of other outlets then wrote articles based on the original version of the WaPo article, some even headlining “Trump fires general in midstream”. None of these hastily written articles have noted the secret WaPo retractions.
this kind of “journalism” makes fake news look good!
