In a baser sense, it also offers him an opening to exact revenge: a decision to slow or stall the Tillerson nomination would poke Trump in the eye. That might be a temptation for Rubio after he saw his presidential dreams crushed last year by the billionaire who ridiculed him as "Little Marco" during the bitter primary race.It was obvious to me from the get-go that this had a lot more to do with Marco Rubio's childish spite and wounded precious ego than it had to do with Tillerson or any real political issue. If Marco joins hands with Democrats to derail Tillerson or any other Trump cabinet appointment, I hope that Republican voters in Florida will reward him by replacing him in the Senate primary. Trouble is, we're still stuck with this petty, back-stabbing Mini-McCain for the next 6 years.

Doesn’t Rubio remember what his support for the gang of 8 bipartisan initiative cost him?

What does Little Marco hope to gain from pissing off Trump? Trump will crush him like a bug.

He will end any Presidential future he might have.

Exactly .. I thought the same thing.
Mr. Rubio’s over-imagined importance and skills .. fully shows he’s not ready for prime-time.
Go home Rubio - and PLEASE GROW UP ..!!!!

The majority of the USA voted for Mr. Trump
and not the soap-suds queen Marco Rubio,
who —by his little girl antics— has just made
enemies from coast to coast.

Rubio demonstrated to the world at Tillerson’s hearing that he’ll always be Little Marco. Poor little guy. He should just go back to his bubble parties.

Marco Amnesty Rubio should have been removed from office for Gang of Eight and arming jihadists.
And for running for President when he is ineligible.
Rubio, McCain, Graham are the worst Democrats in R jerseys, but there are plenty more.

We had to nominate Rubio for Senate to keep the seat in FL (it’s sad, but a more patriotic and honorable conservative would have lost the state). This is the price we chose to pay for a Senate majority. I hope in six years we will be able to afford the risk of dumping that petty, little man.

It seems to me, that with all the msm’s breathless reporting of Republicans at odds with each other, that they are attempting to deflect from the total disarray/circular firing squad occurring now in the Demorat party. That party is currently in a shambles, but the msm is covering for them, while at the same time blowing up every Republican figure at odds with another Republican. Not that it's not really happening, but every other article is about one Republican going after another one, while the shambles which is the Demorat party at present, is being completely ignored.

Irrelevant, even if the Marco, Lindsey Graham and John McCain tried to form some anti-Trump cabal to kill Trump's nominees, there are several red state democrats such as Joe Manchin who have said they intend to vote for Tillerson, and since 50 votes is all it takes they will easily be confirmed with or without Marco and crew.
