Ted and Elmer Gantry are two peas in a pod right down what sort of person they married. Anyone who wants to know what Ted is really like should read the novel as it's far better than the movie.

I don’t remember the Gantry story very well, but I understand the general tone of it.

In some ways I agree, probably a lot more than his defenders do. LOL
